FAQs

  • Important Safety Notice: While our bath bombs are made with gentle, kid-safe ingredients, every bunny is different! Please don't use our bath bombs if your child has super sensitive skin, eczema flare-ups, or allergies to any of the ingredients listed. When in doubt, hop on over to your pediatrician for advice! We want every bath to be a happy, safe splash.

Sodium Bicarbonate Aka baking soda - the same stuff in your kitchen! It's what makes your bath bomb fizz and bubble when it hits the water. It’s safe for kids' skin* and actually helps soften bath water while giving you that satisfying fizzy show.

Citric Acid Don't let the word "acid" scare you - this comes from citrus fruits like lemons and oranges. It teams up with baking soda to create all those fun bubbles. It's food-grade safe (they use it in sour candy!) and helps keep your bath bomb fresh until it's ready to make a splash.

Corn Starch Straight from corn kernels, this powder helps bind everything together and makes your bath water feel silky smooth. Safe on skin* and commonly used in cooking, think of it as the glue that keeps your bath bomb from falling apart before bath time!

Epsom Salt These aren't regular table salts - they're special mineral crystals that dissolve in water to help soothe tired muscles after a long day of playing. Named after a town in England where they were first discovered, Epsom salt adds extra fizz to your bath bomb party.

SLSA This tongue-twister stands for Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - basically a gentle, plant-based ingredient that creates those fluffy bubbles without irritating eyes or skin. Unlike harsh detergents, SLSA is mild enough for the most sensitive bunny skin and gives you that bubbly bath experience every kid loves.

Avocado Oil Yes, from the same avocados you eat! This oil is packed with vitamins and moisturizes your skin while you soak. It's super gentle, won't clog pores, and leaves skin feeling soft. Plus, it helps carry the yummy scents from our essential oils.

Polysorbate 80 This ingredient is like a friendly mediator - it helps oil and water get along so your bath bomb colors spread evenly instead of leaving an oily ring. It's food-grade safe (used in ice cream!) and ensures you get beautiful, even colors in your bath without any slippery mess.

Essential Oils These are the real deal - pure plant extracts that make your bath smell amazing. We use kid-safe oils in gentle amounts, so you get all the yummy scents without any irritation. From lavender for sleepy time to citrus for energy, these natural fragrances turn bath time into an aromatic adventure.

Water Good old H2O! We use just a tiny bit to help bind everything together during the bath bomb-making process. By the time your bath bomb is ready, most of the water has evaporated, leaving behind all the good stuff. Simple, safe, and essential!

Mica Powder These are natural mineral powders that create those gorgeous, shimmery colors in your bath. Mica comes from rocks and is completely non-toxic when it’s in a bath bomb - it's even used in makeup and art supplies. It gives your bath that magical, sparkly look.Description text goes here

  • Sea bunnies are tiny ocean creatures (about the size of your thumbnail!) that look like adorable fuzzy bunnies with ears. But they're actually sea slugs known by the scientific name Jorunna parva.

Their “ears” are really special sensors that help them smell underwater, and their "fur" is actually tiny bumps that make them look super cuddly!

These little ocean hoppers became famous because they're super cute - and now one inspired our BathBums logo!
